Do you Match ?

When it comes to making decisions that can shape our destiny, we use all our cards to put the odds on our side. For some, the power of reflection will be the only recourse. For others, the rational process of decision-making may be supported by other avenues. Somewhere deep inside each of us, there is the belief that the future can be predicted and that everything is predestined, one way or another. Numerology makes the numbers and the letters speak so as to highlight tendencies relating to the opportunities, to the threats, to the breaches in which to rush, to the moments of low profile … Our personalities are distinctive and agree with the astrological sign under which we came into being. In other words, our date of birth (day, month and year) determines in many respects the people we are. In this same logic of rationalization of decision making, the choice of our life partner can also be considered under the prism of numerology through the analysis of parameters such as first name and date of birth. The issue of dating compatibility strongly conditions the success or failure of interpersonal relationships. Curious to know what your birth date says about your relationship? Love compatibility according to western or Chinese astrology

Loving compatibility according to date of birth splits into two quite distinct schools. The first concerns western astrology which is based on the 12 signs of the zodiac that we all know. The second is based on traditional Chinese astrology which is based on 12 signs, each representing a particular animal. We will review these two methods in the following section.

Western Astrology

Our date of birth (day and month) gives us one of the 12 zodiac signs of Western astrology. Here is a list of all the signs according to the day and month of birth:

  • Aries (21 March – 19 April) ;
  • Taurus (April 20 – May 20) ;
  • Gemini (21 May – 21 June) ;
  • Cancer (June 22 – July 22) ;
  • Lion (July 23 – August 22) ;
  • Virgin (August 23 – September 22) ;
  • Balance (23 September – 23 October) ;
  • Scorpio (24 October – 22 November) ;
  • Sagittarius (22 November – 21 December) ;
  • Capricorn (22 December – 19 January) ;
  • Aquarius (20 January – 18 February) ;
  • Fish (19 February – 20 March).

To determine the romantic compatibility of two people from their respective days and months of birth, it is first necessary to break down each of the astrological signs into one of the following 4 groups :

  • Group number 1 (fire): Aries, Leo and Sagittarius ;
  • Group number 2 (earth): Virgo, Capricorn and Taurus ;
  • Group number 3 (air) : Gemini, Aquarius and Libra ;
  • Group number 4 (water): Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

In theory, numerology stipulates that two people with different astrological signs present a satisfactory romantic compatibility if the elements of nature they represent are complementary (water nourishes the earth but extinguishes fire). This is the system followed by the many websites and other mobile applications that offer you to enter your date of birth as well as that of your partner to estimate the intensity of your romantic compatibility. As we have seen, Chinese astrology works with different astrological signs and groups. Let’s find out!

Chinese Astrology

Chinese astrology is based on astronomical notions and traditional calendars. The cycle of twelve years represented by the twelve animals is associated with the twelve land branches. As early as the second half of the 20th century, the twelve animals adopted by Chinese astrology were gradually adopted into popular culture in other countries of South Asia and then elsewhere in the world. Today, many people know their astrological animal according to Chinese astrology. The “Bazi” astrology adopted in most Chinese regions is based on a year that begins on February 4 (sometimes the 5th), the date that marks the beginning of spring. Bazi” astrology is based on year, month, day and time of birth. Each of these parameters is expressed by two characters: a celestial trunk and an earth branch. Here is the list of the 12 Chinese astrological signs:

  • Rat (or Mouse) ;
  • Tiger ;
  • Pig (Boar or Elephant).

As for Western astrology, Chinese astrology groups these 12 signs into 4 groups that define love compatibility according to date of birth. You will notice that there are sometimes several variants (essentially regional) for the same sign. This in no way alters the estimate of love compatibility:

  • Group number 1: Rat (or Mouse), Dragon and Monkey ;
  • Group number 2: Ox (Asian Cow or Buffalo), Snake (or Small Dragon) and Rooster (or Phoenix) ;
  • Group number 3: Tiger, Horse and Dog ;
  • Group number 4: Rabbit (or Cat), Goat (or Aries) and Pig (Boar or Elephant).

Here again, numerology stipulates that two persons born under two astrological signs of the same group present a satisfactory romantic compatibility.

Date of birth in numerology

Date of birth plays an important role in numerology. The sum of the different figures of your date of birth explains the purpose of your existence. It is the best starting point to aspire to a better understanding of oneself through numerology. The date of birth provides information on love compatibility, harmony, purpose of life and destiny. It also shows your lucky dates and lucky numbers. To complete the information drawn from the analysis of the 12 astrological signs via the 4 groups, numerology recommends taking into account the life path and personal year of each of the two people. Indeed, you can dig deeperThe data on the vibrations and a complete picture of the different figures relating to each of the two persons. This will allow you to consider all facets of their existence. Some details further refine the estimate of romantic compatibility. For example, if a person was born on “12” or “30”, the sum of the units and tens will give the “3” in both cases. However, the “12” gives its holder the power of the “1”, represented by leadership, individuality and creativity as well as the different aspects of the “2”, namely mediation, love and emotional sensitivity. A birth on the 30th will rather support the energy of the “3” which is based on creative expression, emotional sensitivity and performance. The “0” is indeed a catalyst of the assets conferred by the tens figure. The “0” doubles the advantages but also the disadvantages of the “3”. These are doubt, emotional volatility and hypersensitivity as well as analytical difficulties (or analytical paralysis in the most advanced cases).

Date of birth: an indicator of what to learn

As a general rule, your date of birth should be seen as an interesting indicator that will help you understand your destiny and decide on your romantic compatibility. It highlights many aspects of your personality. These are crucial to understanding the degree of your agreement with your partner. It explains your desires, your actions and your life objectives and will therefore allow you to compare them with those of your partner. Some numerologists base all their analysis on the date of birth. The authors Lloyd Strayhorn (author of the bestseller “Numbers and You”) says that “Your name is the teacher, it tells you what you need to teach and how to pass on your knowledge to others so that they find their way. Your date of birth, on the other hand, considers you a student and tells you what you need to study, learn and master.
